Lee Kernaghan - The Very Best - Three Decades of Hits 3CD

Curated by Lee himself, it marks the 30^th anniversary of his 1992 classic debut album, “Outback Club”.

Packed full of hits, fan favourties and some special treats, this 3-CD, 62 song set documents three decades of dedication to his craft – a decade per CD -  a journey which has ensured Lee remains one of the biggest names in Australian country music.

It’s been an amazing ride, 3 decades of music making, song writing, recording and singing songs about the people and the country that I love. This special 3-disc set has been specially compiled to take you on a musical journey through the hits and musical highlights of my career. Disc 1 features the very best of the 90’s – from the Outback Club all the way through to the Hat Town album. Everything we recorded back then was on two-inch multitrack tape that gave the songs a special warmth and fidelity that you only ever hear on analogue recordings. Disc 2 will transport you to the second decade of my career, the Electric Rodeo years and some of the best recordings from that era. Disc 3 takes you from Planet Country to the best of Backroad Nation along with some special duets with my damn good mates and touring partners The Wolfe Brothers.”

With 14 studio albums under his belt, Kernaghan has sold over 2 million albums in Australia and had 40 number 1 hits on the Australian Country Charts.

He has won 37 Golden Guitar Awards, 4 ARIA Awards and was a recipient of the Outstanding Achievement ARIA Award in 2015.

In 2004 Lee received the Order of Australia Medal and in 2008 he was named Australian of the Year.
