‘Seeking New Gods’ marks a step back into full band territory for Gruff and has all the hallmarks of a classic Gruff Record. We’re much closer to Babelsberg territory and we want to reposition away from the production focused style of Pang! and focus more on Gruff as a songwriter and frontman.  Seeking New Gods climbs lyrically and musically on to totally new terrain, because for his seventh solo record Gruff Rhys has created his own mountain.

In his 25th year in the public eye, Gruff shows no sign of slowing down his output. This month Gruff’s book ‘Resist Phony Encores!’ is released, ‘Seeking New Gods’ will be released on 21st May and there will be an extensive UK tour this autumn (COVID allowing + with plans for EU to be shared). Following this, in spring 2022, Bafta Winner Gruff Rhys will release the soundtrack to a new Rebel Wilson film ‘Almond and the Seahorse’.
