Did you know that we have not 1 but 2 World Cup songs on 4AD? Air Miami’s (1995) 'World Cup Fever' and Colourbox’s (1986) 'The Official Colourbox World Cup Theme'. We’re on a mission to launch these as new alternative World Cup anthems for the music curious football fan. 4AD will release a double A 7” single containing both tracks with artwork by Chris Bigg and photography by The Douglas Brothers.

Colourbox - The Official Colourbox World Cup Theme: A bonus track from the bands 1986 CD reissue of their self-titled debut mini-album. Originally intended as a football theme and was even considered for the BBC’s World Cup Grandstand during the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, although sadly wasn’t used.
